Phoebe's Insane Music Review!
Lately I've been listenin to alot of different
thins, but something that really cauht my ear was the artist, Emiliana
Torrini. For any of you who know about her. Well.... I'm damn impressed.
Aside from that... I love most of the lyrics to her songs. Most of them
are really just fun songs, like "Unemployed in Summertime" which i have
decided is the absolute best song in the world, as of this point. She also
sings Gollum's song from "The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers" which
may i add, is even better then the first! so.. there!! hah! There
are plenty of good songs by Emiliana Torrini. Another good song is "Summerbreeze",
and "Easy (Slow Blow)" although that isn't my favorite. Actually. My absolute
favorite would be "To Be Free". I guess the thing that appeals the most
to me from this one is the phrase from the lyrics, "It shouldn't hurt me
to be free." Which is very true. She's a really good artist and EVERYONE
SHOULD LISTEN TO ATLEAST ONE OF HER SONGS!
Next up: Sheryl Crowe.
Well, Sheryl Crowe... is another realllyy
good artist. To tell you the truth, i like her almost more the Emiliana
Torrini. But... none of the above will take the place of Suzanne Vega!!!
^_^ I guess one of my favorite songs sung by Sheryl Crowe is "Leaving on
a Jet Plane" There's also a Punk Ska version of the song which KICKS MAJOR
ASS! What can I say, hmm?
Eryns CD's
Eryn made me a bunch of cd's for a christmas
present. THANK YOU HUN I LOVE THEM! THEY'RE THE BEST! I LOVE YOU! I LOVE
YOU I LOVE YOU!! She is now... Queen Eryn of the universe... I'm Queen
Phoebe of the Universe! buahahahah! AND... That's about all i can talk
about for this week. Sadly. Not at all ^_^!
