Eryn’s First Group of Random Music Reviews ^_^’’

Ok, here’s a note to all the random avid readers I don’t have; Sorry!  The following is going to be completely random and please keep in mind I really have no clue what I’m talking about ^_^;;  And I make faces too much, but its an addiction and probably my most healthy.  So, here goes nothing…

Ace of Base- Obviously Bob Marley for angry girls of the early nineties…ignoring that good Ole Bob is a pacifist…or at least a really big pot head, which I suppose adds up to the same thing…oh well *shrug* And I’m not saying I dislike either of these artists.  Everything has its moments

Chumba Wumba- Alright, I know many people have automatically written off this band due to some unfortunate overplaying.  But this is a completely unfair assumption.  It’s simply ABBA gone to Britain and discovering computer synthesizers to an almost frightening level.  If you like techno, or any type of harmonizing, it really is a good band, I swear it.  And the songs have some either completely hilarious messages or some incredibly good ones.  “I only know two tunes, Silent Night and God Save the Queen, and the only way I can tell the two apart is that during one, everyone stands up…”

The Pogues- Amazingly wonderful great worthwhile band necessary for all future happiness in life.  True, I only have two of their CDs (but then again I have no clue how many they have…) Peace and Love (a bit of backwards Vash for all of those who that appeals to…^_~) and Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash, which scarily enough probably appeals to the same group of people…o.O.  But its Irish rock and if any of you have a problem with that you can kiss my FUZZY ARSE!!!  Good songs that I highly recommend- (ok, all spelling might be wrong for the record) “Sally Maclenainn”, “Lorelei”, “A Pair of Brown Eyes”, “The Sickbed of Cucculian”, “My Blue Heaven” (which is where Phoebe, Hillary, and myself will be when our time finally comes…if I believed in it ^_^;;)

Flogging Molly- More Irish stuff kids!!  But greatness, nonetheless, or in my opinion, because of ^_^.  Different then The Pogues, but both have their high points.  Mostly fun and fast-paced, with a few good slow stuff that’s conveniently sad.  “I want to believe in myself once again, so I dream of a man who’s hopes never end to kiss with a girl who’s as lovely as you, I’d give you my heart if you gave me the truth…”  “Black Friday Rule”, “Far Away Boys”…many many more, almost everything on Swagger, but I don’t know the names to all of them ^_^;.

Dropkick Murpheys- Ok, I have only heard a total of two songs by this band, but both were massively fun and great, so I recommend them, and, to go along with the theme, its Irish!

Manau- Ok, this is Rap…the only rap I tolerate.  It’s also Celtic style, which helps…oh yeah, and completely in French.  Which is great if you’re me and can actually understand it here and there…and in truth, it better be great for everyone else, because if it weren’t, it would mean the world had lost all good taste.

The Push Stars- Ok, I know barely anything about them either, but any band that can produce A Little Drunk is Better then Dead –and- Everything Shines is automatically wonderful and worthy of this list of goodness.

Okey, kids, that’s all for now, and I know you’re all thanking your lucky stars that’s its finally done, if you’ve even gotten this far.
*~Unavoidably detained by the world, expect me when you see me~*
Love Always
